In the past decade of earning the education and working experience, I dedicated to shaping my vision towards the space, place, and environment we live in. My name is Shihui, I hold both BLA and MLA degrees and work as a landscape architecture professional after college. The name was given by my beloved mother through the meaning of "poetic landscape".  Ever since my childhood, I have been naturally attracted to nature. Not only because the peaceful, vivid garden intrigued me, but also because the fast-changing environment made me curious about the relationship between humans and nature. Attending an architecture & engineering college gives me solid architectural knowledge. Vigorous studio training classes honed my skills and also shaped my work ethic. Practice experience after college geared me toward a more profound vision of the design profession and its industry.

By earning an advanced degree, I am passionate about research. The topics stretch broadly,  from applied ecology to applied computational graphics, from urban sociology to geographics.  I am constantly looking for opportunities to bridge the gaps in interdisciplinary studies.
